Is Breathing Retraining For You?

Breathing Re-Education for Children and Adults

Breathing through your mouth, especially at night when you sleep can lead to many health issues including but not limited to:

Increased Allergies

Upper Respiratory Illness

Asthma

Poor Sleep

Behavioral Issues

Anxiety

High Blood Pressure

Diabetes

Skin Issues

During mouth breathing, the tonsils and adenoids are bombarded with unfiltered air. This may cause those tissues to become inflamed. Having your tonsils and adenoids out does not mean that you will convert to nasal breathing. In a lot of cases, the symptoms may return. Breathing retraining can allow for better growth in children and improve the quality of life in both children and adults.
